SLJ Week 2 Day 4 Activity 3

 For this activity I chose my horse riding Instructor who is also my farrier, Eve Hawes. Eve is a really good rider who knows a lot about horses. She owns her own horses and also trains horses. Eve competes around the country at shows and eventing. Her piece of advice is:
"Practice makes you successful. It takes you 10,00 hours of practise to become great at anything... so if you ride one horse for an hour a day it will take you 27 years and 144 days to be great at it. The more you practise the faster you'll get there."

    Hello Jess,

    This is a great piece of wisdom! Eve sounds like a really smart person. I have heard of the 10,000 hours rule before. It makes a lot of sense doesn’t it? 27 years is a long time though! Maybe you will get there faster if you do more than one hour a day :)

    Has Eve been your instructor for long? Would you love to be horse trainer someday?
