SLJ Flying Fungi

Week: 3
Day: 2
Activity: 3

How I worked this math problem out was a simple way. All I did was times 5 by 7 like this 5 10 15 20 15 30 35. Or I could also have done 7 times 5 like this 7 14 21 28 35. Since they both end with 35, that is how I know the answer is 35. That is 5 weeks.

  1. Hi Jess

Well done with working out this problem. It is great that you have shared with us just how you worked it out. It is always good to show the teacher how you got the answer so that they know you understood how you got the answer that you did.

This is a long time to be out of your classroom. Imagine not being to go into you room for 7 weeks. It is actually 7 weeks. Because 5x7=35 so five days a week for 7 weeks is 35 days. That is over half a term.
I wonder if they would close the school or if they would make you go into another classroom.
What do you think would happen at your school? They might make you go to the Dobson site? How would you feel about that?
Do you go there very often or do they come to the Blackball site?

    Great work Jess

    Until next time

    Allie :)
