I think that this rule is fair. Why I think that is because if people over fish, of course there won't be enough fish in that area. More people will want to fish there but can't. Fish are also quite important for people too.

    1. Hi Jess,

Good job on this post! I like the way you have put in a really cute picture of a fish. I also agree with you about this rule. i think that if people over fish, fish numbers will drop and then lots of fish will become endangered or extinct.

  2. Hi Jess!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on overfishing!
I agree with you I think that it is really important we are looking after our fresh water and marine life.
I watched a documentary that said 90-100 million tons of fish are pulled out of the ocean each year - Isn't that crazy?!
Sounds like a lot of fish to me, way more than what we need!

I also could not imagine spending that amount of money on a fine - I would be so sad!!
You would have to be pretty silly to overfish when you know that you could get fined that amount though aye? Or have a lot of money to loose. :)

Like the girls I think your fish photo is very cool - What kind of fish is this?
You have also done a great job of posting where you found the photo, awesome work!

Thanks again for sharing Jess, it was great to read your opinion - Keep up the awesome work. :)

    Nga mihi,
    Ellee :)

That is a lot of fish! Man, I would hate to pay that much, I probably don't even have that much money!
I think it looks a bit like a Pufferfish. It actually didn't say what type of fish it was!
Thanks for commenting on my blog.
